Spell with flickr

Both an experiment in typography and an online photography gallery, this Web tool, created by Erik Kastner, takes words typed in by the user and spells out that word using random images of letters. The images all come from the flickr online photo management and sharing application and are freely available. The different letters are taken from a range of sources, including pieces of graffiti or calligraphy, keyboard keys and neon signs. Each letter can be easily changed and the HTML code to display the generated images is provided for use on any website.
